The Story of Guys Secretly Getting Girl's Phone Numbers

Now this is an interesting story to tell. As I was driving my way to work earlier today, I was listening to one of my favourite morning talk show, the Pagi Rock Crew on FlyFM and one of the things that was happening today was that one of their new staff members were getting texts from a guy who apparently got her number from an unknown slip and decided to contact her even though she had no clue who the guy was.

[Of course this story does not apply to girls like this...]

Setting aside what the crew decided to do with the guy, my thoughts goes to the people that still does things like this. Basically those that feel its fine for them to text girls secretly because it looks romantic and mysterious and a lot of people are doing it.

here's a fun fact. its not.

In the end of day, it pretty obvious that this method of picking up girls is an outdated method of asking a girl out and in the end of the day, you would only make yourself look either super weak in your game or a creepy little man who is looking for a good time.

I find it astonishing that there are so many out there that actually uses this method and end up getting themselves into a whole world of trouble. I wonder what ever happened to the good ol' approach of talking to the girl in person rather than doing such sneaky way of communicating with the girl.

With so many cases of girls getting harassed and kidnap/rape cases going around the country, the last thing you would want is a "stalkerish" person texting a girl and believes in his inner self that would be enough effort  to get the girl. Believe it or not, it not how that works and it shouldn't be.

Perhaps its because I am talking in nature that I would rather talk to the girl in person and get her to know that side of me herself but I hated the idea of sneaking my way through to talk to another girl. To be honest being shy is NEVER an excuse to stalk a person, which is the reason why the fellow man invented the "WingMan".

In my life I admit I have made use of the Wing Man technique and become a wingman myself in many occasion to overcome the "stage fright" of chasing girls in the past but in the end of the day, it still boils down to your own personality once the Wing Man has opened up that opportunity for you to approach the girl. 

So to those that still thinks secretly texting girls by sneakily getting phone numbers from someone is cool, stop it. In the end you would only make yourself look like the biggest douchebag who has no confidence on your own personality and you need to rely on sad methods to get yourself seen.

And that includes those who think that its ok to do so just to say hi.

So if you feel like you don't know what to say to girls, always fall back to the pick up line rule book.

Stop pretending that you are cool by doing that mate. Get some cojones and talk to the girl.
